How the dialup works

The dial-up works with BT & Telewest (Blueyonder) telephone lines.  If you are other providers and the number works for you, please let us know!

Caller Line ID (CLID)

Without caller line ID, this system will not work.  If the caller line ID is with-held, you will get a username/password error.  You can release the CLID by putting 1470, before the 0845 number.

Mobile Phones & the Internet Dial Up

Without doubt you will be charged more than a land line for internet access.  This number will work, but be prepared for expensive internet access!  You may be better off contacting your mobile service provider (Orange, O2 etc) and asking about bundled GPRS data.
